NOTICE: LADYBRAND: WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION Residents are advised that the ongoing maintenance and repair works at Genoa Water Treatment Works are continuous. As a result, interruptions to water supply are expected to occur repeatedly and may, at times, be experienced on a daily basis until maintenance programme is completed. Residents should expect water supply restrictions mainly from 11h00 till 16h00 daily. This measures are necessary to allow reservoirs to recover and maintain adequate water levels for the community. NOTICE: LADYBRAND: DISCOLOURED / BROWN WATER – GENOA WATER TREATMENT PLANT Mantsopa Local Municipality would like to inform residents that some areas may experience the brown/discoloured water from their taps following maintenance work carried out Genoa Water Treatment plant. During maintenance process and the subsequent restoration of water supply, sediment and settled particles are disturbed and enter portions of distribution network. As a result, some discolored water has passed through the pipelines. Our water team is monitoring the system and conducting flushing operations to clear affected pipelines. Residents may continue to experience temporary brown or muddy water during the flushing

South African National football squad, affectionatetly known as Bafana Bafana is about to lock horns with Mexico in the opening match of the 2026 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup held in Mexico.
