NOTICE LADYBRAND: WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – UPDATE Residents of Ladybrand are hereby advised that repair works following the burst on the main water pipeline from Genoa Water Treatment Works to the town reservoirs are continuing. Although the Municipality initially anticipated that water supply would be restored by 17h00 today, the repair process has identified additional leaks and pipe bursts at multiple areas along the affected water supply system. These additional faults require attention before the system can be safely restored and stabilised. Repair works are continuing, and the Technical Services team remains on site attending to the identified faults. The

Residents are advised that there is currently an unplanned water supply interruption due to a mainline burst feeding from Genoa Water Treatment Works to the town reservoirs.
The team is on site working to restore the water supply as soon as possible.
Expected restoration time: 17h00 today.

FREE STATE SALGA BRINGS POST-MANDELA DAY CHEER TO MANTSOPA GIRL CHILDREN THROUGH SALGA CARES Free State South African Local Government Association (SALGA) today held its Post-Provincial Mandela Day Celebration with a special outreach to girl children at Le Reng Secondary School and Vumani Outreach Centre in Manyatseng. LADYBRAND: WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION
Residents are advised that water interruption is still continuing due to electrical poles that were damaged by lightning and awaited repairs.
Electricians are currently on site working to resolve the fault and electrical challenges affecting the water supply system.
Water supply is anticipated to be restored by 18h00 today. However, residents in high-lying areas may experience low water pressure until tomorrow morning as the system gradually stabilises.

NOTICE LADYBRAND: WATER INTERRUPTION Please be informed that there is currently a water supply interruption affecting Ladybrand area. The interruption is due to electric poles being struck by lightning, which has affected the electricity supply required for the water system. Electricians are currently on site attending to electrical fault and working to restore the affected services. Water supply is expected to be restored by 10h00 today, 04 September 2026.
